Program description

Media Buyer Alerts (operated by Hit Factory Apps Inc.) sends SMS notifications about ad platform outages — service disruptions affecting the advertising and ecommerce platforms our subscribers run their campaigns and stores on. Which platforms your alerts cover depends on your plan. We send alerts when an upstream status feed indicates a major or critical outage. We may also send scheduled-maintenance heads-up notices about 1 hour before a planned maintenance window starts.

Consent

When you provided your phone number at sign-up, you saw and checked a box containing the following opt-in language:

Msg & data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Your acceptance, the wording shown, your IP address, and the timestamp are logged immutably as an audit trail.

Message frequency

Variable. We only send when an actual outage occurs, so frequency depends on how often the platforms we monitor report incidents. Typical users receive zero to several SMS per month. A complex multi-hour incident produces 3–6 SMS over the life of the event (investigating → identified → monitoring → resolved).

Carrier fees

Message and data rates may apply. Media Buyer Alerts does not charge per SMS — your subscription includes unlimited alerts — but your wireless carrier may charge you to receive each message.

Opt-out

Reply STOP(or UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) to any of our messages and we'll immediately stop sending. Your opt-out is recorded in our audit log and you'll receive a single confirmation message.

Reply START (or UNSTOP) later to re-enable alerts.

We currently support US and Canadian mobile numbers (+1 country code) only.
